LES 3 ERREURS A NE PAS FAIRE !

THE 3 MISTAKES NOT TO MAKE!

Whether it's on your vehicle, your boat, your fridge... whatever your support, respect these 3 conditions and your stickers will keep their promise.

1 - WASH YOUR BODY BUT DON'T POLISH IT!

Obviously you want to put your stickers on a clean and healthy body. But be careful, do not use polishing or solvent products. This may seem obvious, but sometimes forgotten.

put a sticker

These types of products will prevent the glue from adhering properly upon application.

A shine shampoo, polish, Vulcanet wipes, white spirit... (the list is long) deposits a greasy substance, which is the opposite of what we want: a degreased surface.

A window cleaner, acetone... (and many other solvents) have a dissolving effect on glues. You understand: will then reduce the adhesion of your stickers to your support.

IN THE CASE OF COMPULSORY USE OF A DISSOLVING PRODUCT

You may still need to degrease your bodywork, rims, windows... Don't panic, just rinse thoroughly and rub to remove all traces of unwanted product.

You understand, wash your vehicle well, degrease if necessary then rinse properly, but do not polish it .

2 - YOUR SURFACE MUST BE SMOOTH!

You want a perfect fit, in this case be careful to evaluate the possibilities.

Some surfaces (e.g. rims, dashboards, etc.) may be grainy, not exactly smooth. In these cases, air bubbles slip between the glue and the support, if the adhesive vinyl is not suitable, this can lead to detachments.

But don't worry, some vinyls are designed for this kind of situation, ask us if in doubt.

3 - DO NOT EXPOSE IMMEDIATELY TO FREEZE AND HUMIDITY!

Our stickers are of a quality intended for automotive use and withstand extreme conditions, but a break time is recommended before brutal exposure.

Let the vehicle rest in a dry place at a moderate temperature for at least 24 hours for a guaranteed hold. The glue needs some time to adhere optimally.

There you go, now you know what not to do. Enjoy!
