SOME ADVICE

• It is important that the support and the roll of vinyl for the headlight are not at too low a temperature; in winter, remember to heat the surface a little during installation using a heat gun.
• If the adhesives are not applied immediately, store them in a dry, temperate place away from cold and heat.
• After application, avoid contact with cold and humidity for the first few days to optimize hold.

Tools needed:

• 1 new cutter
• 1 spray bottle filled with clear water (without soap)
• 1 heat gun
• 1 felt squeegee

STEP 1:

Remove the backing from the adhesive side of the film.

Leave the protective film on the other side.

STEP 2:

Spray water evenly on the vinyl and then the surface of the optics

STEP 3:

Place the film as tautly and evenly as possible on the glass of the lens. But without using force.

STEP 4:

On the flattest part, pass the squeegee vigorously to remove air and water, starting from the middle and working outwards.

When it becomes more restrictive because of the shape of the optic, heat the vinyl until it becomes malleable.

Continue to force out the air and water with the squeegee gradually.

STEP 4:

Remove the transparent protective film.

Once the film has cooled, cut off the excess vinyl.

you can use the edges of the headlight to guide your blade and cut cleanly.

STEP 5:

Memorize the shape by heating the entire surface from a distance of 30/40cm for one minute, without lingering.

Special optical vinyls are products tested and approved before being put on sale.
